  • Summer Road Projects

    Columbia County Highway will be chipsealing the following roads: Golf Road (Hwy 188 to corner by LWCC), Gannon Road, Hegge Road, Padley Road, Miller Road, Miller Court, and Gastrow Road. As of right now Columbia County Highway has them in the schedule for the week of July 21st and July 28th.

    Tri-County Paving Inc. will be working on Selwood Drive. The work to be done is full depth milling, removal, and paving of asphalt, culvert work, shouldering, ditching, restoration , and erosion control.  They are planning to start the first week in August. (I will update when we find out more details)

    8/7/25 Update: Selwood Drive - Tri-County Paving Inc. has scheduled to start milling Selwood Drive on Wednesday August 13th, 2025. (weather permitting)

    8/11/25 Update: Selwood Drive - Tentative Schedule (weather permitting)
    • Wednesday, August 13th - Milling - hopefully one day
    • Proof roll to follow the next morning for all soft areas
    • Tuesday, August 19th or Wednesday, August 20th - Paving -  (Please plan according, by leaving early in the morning or parking your vehicle on West Point Drive or Crestview Drive.)
    • A week later - Shouldering 
       *During construction process - Driveways will be ramped up with 2x4s to allow access and major intersections will have gravel wedge to protect the edge.

    8/14/25 Update: Selwood Drive
    • Monday, August 18, undercutting will be starting on Selwood Drive.  This operation will take 3 to 4 days.  The road will be impassible the entire width of the road for stretches of 300 to 500’ at a time.  Please plan ahead accordingly.
    The rest of the project schedule will be adjusted accordingly.


    8/28/25 Update: Selwood Drive

    • The contractor will be letting the undercutting settle and bind together for another week to help strengthen the road before paving.
